After seeing Transformers for a third time with more of my friends, and still giggling like a school girl when Optimus Prime first transforms, I decided to share my idea. They should make a Transformers MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game). I know at first it sounds a bit iffy, but hear me out.
First of all, you wouldn’t be able to play as any of the main Transformers, but you would be able to interact and talk with them. You’d start off by picking a side, Autobots or Decepticons. From there, you’d be given a set number of starting points to be divided into basic categories, such as Armor, Strength, Speed, Range and so forth. Based on your, placement of the points in these categories, you would be given a list of vehicles that your transformer could be, whether it be a sleek car, a tank, aircraft, and what not. You could than tweek the colors and add designs and logos and small details to make it your own.
From there you’d start out at either base, and be sent of missions to recover Energon for your side. The game would be set up PvP (Player v. Player) style so that Decepticons could fight Autobots whenever they meet on these distant planets. Instead of the usual leveling system that you see in MMORPG, you would simply upgrade your Transformers’ guns, armor, add-ons, and beef up your speciality points.
I think this would be a really cool game, and maybe, as a computer science major, I can one day see it come to life. Any ideas or general remarks are appreciated.

i suggest to make another version that autobots and Decepsions TEAM UP to save there SELVES FOR ALIENS or ect? u like it?
There are a ton of blogs out there like this one all with similar ideas…gaming companies have to know that a transformers game like this would possibly outshine every other mmorpg out there and more than likely be one of the greatest games ever…if made properly.
That’s the problem with any IP based game, it has to be made properly.
It could be made by “Blizzard”, just as WoW is made such as:
~The whole world could be the battleground for people
~3D action through-out the game
~Chat systems just like it
~Partying others could be more of a guild…
~Different UNIQUE autobots, with different colours/equipment, to make everyone feel unique also
~A ranking system for lower leveled people to have goals
~Different places in the “world” could have things such as “home bases”
~ALWAYS online
~Events, like “Alien Attacks” maybe not that drastic but you get the point
~A sort of “Cash Shop” where you can buy things for “real” money
~Seeing though there would be a “cash shop” this would make it more likely to be a FREE online mmorpg, which would benefit a LOT of gamers.
There are TONS of ideas that could be made for this type of game, and for this game to be made would be MASSIVE, bigger than any other mmorpg perhaps…
All’s i can hope is that they DO bring out a Transformers game such as this…

this is kind of my idea except mines a bit different its where you pick a vhercle semi truck submarine futeristic sports car digger machine motor bike ect. anyway after that youy pick the colour, how you transform what you want to start with eg. gun and what type (there would be a few types to pick), close combat weapons then you pick a team and you start as a new recrut on the team. you can have friends do misions and after a certain mission you can combine with A partner (i did the a in caps because every one i tell wants to combine with like 5 people i know it sounds kool but we dont want devistator running every where) when you combine you can select the top or bottom half ( and i tell everyone pick a friend as a partner so you dont argue) snd yes the best till last the leveling up after a number of exp from killing autobots or for doing a mission you get exp the types of exp there are include hitpoints damage armor special move energon gauge and a few more. most of the main carecters would be there + a few more that ive made eg. taticus prime drillor radar skidmark fastflight and lots more and anymore ideas i would love to here it
