I was sitting around the other day, flipping through the million channels that digital cable has to offer and I realized something… Where the hell did all the good cartoons go?
Anyone else remember the good ole days of nickelodeon? When they actually had good shows, such as: AH Real Monsters, Doug Funnie, Hey Arnold, The Original Rugrats, Rocko’s Modern Life, Angry Beavers, and of course Invader Zim. For those of you who are too young to know of these shows I pity you, for you missed out on life. Now Ive tried to watch some of your shows, but have always ended up changing the channels in disappointment. Shows like Drake and Josh, Kappa Mickey, and Dora the Explorer, just don’t stand a chance when compared to our shows. Don’t get me wrong cartoon creaters have gotten lucky every now and than. I have been able to enjoy Fairly Oddparents and the occasional Spongebob Squarepants, but overall your line up just doesnt compare.
And for those of you who aren’t too young to know of these shows, but don’t, hang your weary heads in shame…
